Abstract

ABSTRACT The Palembang Police Headquarters Building Project is one of the building constructions, with a building area of 1895,7 m2 consisting of 8 floors and has an organizational structure for occupational safety and health (K3), the Police Headquarters building on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman KM 3,5 Palembang. This project is a series of development activities for a construction that is unique with quality and within a certain period of time that has been planned with all the resources that include human. By applying occupational safety and health control technology, it is hoped that the workforce will achieve physical endurance, work power, and a high level of health. In addition, occupational safety and health can be desired to create high work comfort and safety. So, the elements in occupational safety and health are not limited to physical aspects, but also mental, emotional and psychological aspects. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it is obtained that from the 6 items we can add up those who wear PPE as much as 66 and those who do not wear 3, from these results we add up again 63+3=66 to % 63÷66x100= 95.45% and 3 66x100= 4.54%. % wearing helmet 11÷11x100=100%, shoes 11÷11x100=100%, gloves 11÷11x100=100%, Vest 8÷11x100=72.72%, hearing protection 11÷11=100%, welding goggles 11÷11x100=100% The following are the reasons why workers who do not wear PPE: do not wear a vest because of the heat..
