Abstract

The application of anthropometric data will basically involve the physical size or function of the human body, including here linear size, weight, volume, space, and so on. In the process of weaving frequent complaints or sickness on the body parts of songket craftsmen, the purpose of this study was to design chairs for craftsmen Palembang songket is good for reducing the level of fatigue in workers. It is known that songket craftsmen experienced complaints on body parts while doing their work, after being applied to the chair which was used when the craftsmen worked it was found that there were no complaints when working and using chairs, this shows that the tool was successful in reducing moskuloskaletal problems for Palembang songket craftsmen.
