Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of the queuing system in vehicle washing services that will be taken into consideration to improve service quality. To overcome these problems and obtain the expected goals, then in this study used a queuing model to see the performance of each facility. The method used is a simulation method to provide an overview of a real system in mengisasisis and improve system performance, in order to be able to model the service system that is in washing the vehicle using pre-loaded software. Promodel simulation results were obtained from the results of analysis with multichannel-singlephase service models, FIFO queue discipline. With arrival data poisson distribution and service time are normal. Seen that the percentage value of the value of utilities working on vehicle washing has fulfilled the minimum requirements or not. Service utility does not reach 80%, then there will be a buildup of queues, because to avoid a buildup of queues, the utility service must be more than 80%. Keywords: Measuring System performance, Simulation, Promodel.
