Abstract

Around Angkatan 45 street and POM IX street Palembang is the core road which is an urban center area where business transactions, offices, hospitals, inns and shopping are in this area. On this road there is a lot of traffic flowing so that traffic jams and conflicts often occur. In November 2017 the city government of Palembang began to implement a One Way system, which after the One Way system was implemented was expected to reduce the amount of traffic flowing across the road so as to minimize the existing congestion. In calculating the capacity of Road Angkatan 45 on roads one and two has a capacity of 1518 smp / hour and 1567.5 smp / hour and on road POM IX section has a capacity of 2704.8 smp /hour when the research obtained the volume of vehicles on the Road Angkatan 45 , section one 2405.9 smp / hour and section two 5457 smp / hour with V / C ratio 1.58 on section one and V / C ratio 1.27 on section two and on road POM IX the volume of vehicles is 2645.6 smp / hour with a V / C ratio of 2.02 which is the level of service F (forced or congested low speed flows, volumes below capacity, long queues, and large obstacles), activities that interfere with surrounding traffic are a factor causing congestion which exists.
