Abstract

Apartments 24 Ilir Palembang design is based on government’s wishes to redevelop the densely populated and poorly organized 24 Ilir aea, located in the center of the city where many people pass through. Furthermore, the increasing demand for housing is not matched by the decreasing availability of land, resulting rising housing prices. Apartments are one of the way to address the issue. The design method is carried out through literature studies, field observations and also analysis of space and site requirements based on applicable standards. The design is carried out using building reliability approach, which is the basis of regulations in building design referring to the level of perfection of condition of the building and its equipment to ensure safety, health, function, convenience and comfort while the building is in use. The regulation in question are (1) Government Regulation Number 16 of 2021 Appendix 1, (2) Regulation of The Minister of Public Works (PU) Number 14 of 2007, (3) Regulation of The Minister of Public Works (PU) Number 26 of 2008 and (4) Regulation of The Minister of Public Works (PU) Number 29 of 2006. The design result in the form of the Apartments 24 Ilir Palembang based on building reliability.
