Program Studi Manajemen, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Advisors: (1) Prof. Dr. Abid Djazuli, S.E., M.M (II) Dr. Choiriyah SE., M.Si. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of workload and compensation on employee loyalty through employee job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The object in this study were employees of Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with cluster random sampling. The research method use was associative research usding primary data obtained from quesionnaires. The analysis technique used was structural equation modeling (SEM) with lisril software. The results of study indicate : (1) there is a significant effect of workload on employee work loyalty at Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch, (2) there is a significant effect of compensation on employee work loyalty at Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch, (3) there is a significant effect of workload on employee work satisfaction at Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch, (4) there is a significant effect of compensation on employee work satisfaction at Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch, (5) there is a significant effect of job satisfaction on employee work loyalty at Bank Sumsel Babel Palembang Syariah Branch.
