Abstract

Parking is a problem found in cities, both large and small. For example, at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital in Palembang, parking at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital is problematic due to a lack of space, while motorcycle parking is limited due to the conversion of the car parking area to motorcycle parking. Therefore, to address this issue, it is necessary to analyze parking patterns, parking locations, parking accumulation, parking volume, and parking capacity. This is done by processing data obtained from relevant agencies and observations/research results. The results of the study, conducted over seven days from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time), and data processing, indicate that the available parking capacity at Dr. Mohammad Hoesin Central General Hospital is 1,400 parking spaces, while the parking requirement is 276. For four-wheeled vehicles, there are 480 parking spaces, and the parking requirement is 501. This study found that motorcycle parking patterns use a 90-degree angle, while cars use a 90-degree angle.
