Abstract

Abstract: In the industrial almost the entire company or organization is currently using Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as one way to measure the performance of the company. Department of Industrial Engineering seeks make improvements to improve the quality of education, besides that it is also necessary to measure the performance of an effort to improve performance in every aspect of the performance of the department. This study related to the performance assessment Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Palembang. Performance Prism method is an appropriate method to represent their needs. The purpose of this research is determine KPI (Key Performance Indicators) as part of performance measurement. Stakeholder satisfaction obtained from questionnaires and stakeholder contribution obtained by interview was used to identify objective of department which is then used to identify the strategies, processes, and capabilities. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Department of Industrial Engineering which has been formed from the processes and capabilities that have been identified are as many as 26 KPI. Based on the results of weighting some 10 KPI has the highest value which in turn could be used as the main priorities that need to be noticed.
