Abstract

Roads are land transportation infrastructure which includes all parts of the road, including complementary buildings intended for traffic, which are at ground level, above ground level, below land and water surface, and above water surface. The Jalan Lieutenant Muchtar Saleh Kayuagung section is a road in the capital of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency which is one of the access roads with quite high mobility which causes traffic jams at several points on the road due to market activities, school and shop activities. With the emergence of these problems the author tries to evaluate and identify the level of service and side obstacles on Jalan Lieutenant Muchtar Saleh Kayuagung using the PKJI 2023 Method. Data collection includes; geometric roads, traffic and side obstacles, the data is processed by analyzing the data using the PKJI 2023 method. Calculation and analysis results. Capacity (C) = 2352 cur/hour, traffic flow (Q) = 1225 cur/hour, degree of saturation (Dj) = 0.52, and free flow speed 37.8 km/hour so that Jalan Lieutenant Muchtar Saleh Kayuagung is included in service level category C, where the flow starts to become unstable, the speed is low.
