ABSTRACT Fatimah, Diana, 2023. Culture Shock Experienced By Students Of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang In Teaching Practice In Thailand. Thesis, English Education Study Program, Sarjana Degree (S1), Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, Advisors: (1) Masagus Sulaiman, S.Pd., M.Pd. (2) Sri Yuliani, S.Pd., M.Pd. Keywords: Culture Shock, Experienced, Thailand. This research was about analysis Culture Shock Experienced By Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang In Teaching Practice In Thailand. The researcher found out the adaptations processes of culture shocks in communication with Thai Students, when Indonesian Students of the Seventh Semester Students of English Education Study Program of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang practice teaching in Thailand.This research was used qualitative descriptive method to describe the detail about the result. The researcher used quisioner and interview as instrument to collected the data. The quisioner consisted of 15 questions item of interview for 5 Students of the Seventh Semester Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang who followed Practice Teaching and 6 former students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang who has been teaching in Thailand in academic years 2022/2023 The interview was divided into two parts. After analysed the data, the result of this research showed there were two aspect dominant of culture shock in this research there were academic shock and social shock. In social shock there were found sixth aspects culture shock were only experienced by the Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang during Practice Teaching in Thailand in academic years 2022/2023 there were language, climate, wearing dress, food, women-men relationship, and greeting. They could deal, follow the process of adaption, and learn more about the new culture as long as they lived in Thailand.
