Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment and discipline on employees performance of PT Sutopo Lestari Jaya, Banyuasin Regency. The sample used was 83 respondents. The data used are primary and secondary data. Analysis of the data used is quantitative analysis. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that there was a positive influence of work environment and discipline on employee performance of PT Sutopo Lestari Jaya's, Banyuasin Regency. The results of simultaneous hypothesis testing with 90% confidence level prove that there is a significant influence of work environment and discipline on employee performance of PT Sutopo Lestari Jaya's, Banyuasin Regency. The results of partial hypothesis testing with a 90% confidence level prove that there is a significant effect of the work environment and discipline partially on employee performance of PT Sutopo Lestari Jaya's, Banyuasin Regency. The value of the coefficient of determination, shows that the variables of work environment and discipline are able to influence employee performance, with the amount of the contribution caused by 55.2%.
