Abstract

Jalan T.P Rustam Effendi is a road that leads to Jalan Sudirman, Palembang City, Jalan T.P Rustam Effendi is a very congested road. Due to the intensity of daily activities due to the presence of a market beside the road, it is also a trigger for high volumes that occur such as the movement of shopping trip destinations, street vendors, parking lots that take up the road and also the crowds of people passing by on Jalan TP Rustam Effendi Pasaraya Bandung, Palembang City. . This road service level analysis uses the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI). The data required is primary data in the form of road geometry, traffic density figures, traffic volume surveys, environmental conditions and side barriers. Secondary data in the form of population data from the relevant agencies. Based on the results of the calculated research data processing, the highest vehicle volume was found on Saturday at 16.00 - 18.00 WIB at 3055.1 smp/hour. The capacity is 3057,3 pcu/hour. Side barriers are in the very high category with a frequency of >900. Thus making the road service level of service category E on Saturday afternoon with the number 1.00. And obtained the best conditions for optimization efforts by controlling street vendors, pedicab bases and parking on left and right roads.
