Abstract
ANALYSIS OF MULTIPLE U-TURN CIRCULATIONS OF THE PROTECTED CONDITION OF THE ROAD OF KYAI HAJI WAHID HASYIM ROAD IN PALEMBANG CITY Name of Student : Dimazs Al Fariza NRP : 112016015 Department : Letters 1 Civil Engineering Univ. Muhammadiyah Supervisor 1 : Muhammad Arfan S.T, M.T Supervisor 2 : ir.H Matsyuri Ayat M, Si. ABSTRACT The condition of the U-turn on the Kyai Haji Wahid Hashim road section in the city of Palembang at this time does not look problematic at normal hours, but during peak hours, especially the peak hours in the morning, afternoon and evening there is a chance that there will be queues of vehicles due to the absence of queuing line facilities . The problem is how the performance of the U-turn for the road section of Kyai Haji Wahid Hashim in Palembang city in an unprotected condition. At this time (2020) Evaluation of the double U loop in unprotected condition for the current condition with queuing theory. The evaluation begins with the collection of data on the population and the growth in the number of vehicles obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics for the city of Palembang, the measurement of road geometric data, a traffic volume survey to evaluate the performance of U-turn. From the research results it can be concluded that the capacity during off-peak hours is 1534 pcu / hour. and the total traffic volume during peak hours is 1704 pcu / hour with a degree of saturation of 0.97. The solution taken is to open and close during peak hours at 07:00 to 09:00, 11:00 to 13:00, and 16:00 to 18:00 at one U-trun turn from the flayover towards the train station. The level of service obtained on the Kyai Haji Wahid Hasyim Tugu Kb Palembang City road is E, which is an unstable flow of low speed and varies, sometimes stops.
