Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is how the dimensions of the fraud triangle influence academic fraud. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the fraud triangle on academic fraud. The type of research used is associative. The data used are primary. The sample in this study was a random sampling of 315 students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Palembang. The data collection technique is a questionnaire. This research method is quantitative. The results of this study were assisted by the Statistical Program For Special Science (SPSS). The results show that the Fraud Triangle Dimensions of pressure, opportunity, and rationality simultaneously affect academic fraud. Partially, pressure and possibility affect academic fraud, while rationality does not affect academic fraud, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Muhammadiyah Palembang.
