Abstract

ABSTRACT Dinda Thalia Helpi /222017034/2021/The Influence of Auditor Expertise, Ethics, and Audit Experience on Professional Skepticism in Palembang City (Case Study of Public Accounting Firm in Palembang City/Accounting Examination   The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the Effect of Auditor Expertise, Ethics, and Audit Experience on Professional Skepticism in Palembang City (Case Study of Public accounting firm in Palembang City). The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the Effect of Auditor Expertise, Ethics, and Audit Experience on Professional Skepticism in Palembang City (Case Study of Public accounting firm in Palembang City). This research includes associative research. There are three X variables used and one Y variable used. The population used in this study was all auditors of Public accounting firm in the city of Palembang. The sample used was 46 auditors of Public accounting firm in Palembang City. Primary data is needed as the basis for analysis, while the data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The results of the analysis are 1) Auditor Expertise has no significant effect on Professional Skepticism 2) Ethics does not significantly affect Professional Skepticism 3) Audit Experience has a significant effect on Professional Skepticism   Keywords: Auditor Expertise, Ethics, Audit Experience, Professional Skepticism
