Abstract

ABSTRACT From the results of the analysis that has been carried out on the performance of the bus route Palembang - Pampangan Village, Pampangan District, South Sumatera Province. Based on data processing from the survey results that have been conducted, it is found that the value of the load factor, in the morning peak is 54.42% and the percentage of passengers in the afternoon peak is 51.75%. This value is classified as good, according to the regulation of the director general of land transportation, 2002. Where the standard assessment of public transport services based on the load factor at peak hours is less than 80% and outside of peak hours is less than 70%. Based on the regulations of the Director General of Land Transportation, in 2002 the standard bus lane travel speed is 15-18 km / hour. Then the average speed of the bus for the Palembang - Pampangan village route, Pampangan District, South Sumara Province. It is good, namely in the morning which is 33.96 KM / hour and the speed at noon is 33.76 KM / hour. Based on the regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation, year 2002. The standard average frequency of vehicles is 4 - 6 vehicles per hour. Whereas the average number of public transport vehicles in the morning is 4 vehicles / hour, and the frequency of public transportation to the pampangan during the day is 4 vehicles / hour. Here from the results of anesthetic research, it is concluded that the current fleet is sufficient to meet the needs of passengers. Based on standard regulations the passenger displacement rate is 0 - 30%. Based on the results of the questionnaire given to passengers as many as 20 samples, it was found that the transfer of passengers on the bus route Palembang - Desa Pampangan, Kecamatan Pampangan, Province of South Sumatera. namely as much as 0%.
