Abstract

Traffic accidents are a very serious one in Ogan Komering Ilir District. The causeway, which functions to facilitate the movement of people and goods from one place to another, has recently become a source of accidents. Road accidents cost many people under the age of 40 and are the biggest cause of loss of life span. The purpose and objective of this final project, entitled analysis of the level of traffic accidents on the road from Buluh Cawang Village-Kota Kayuagung OKI in 2014-2018 is to find out, the purpose of this research is to find out the accidents on the road of Buluh Cawang Village. –Kota Kayuagung. The purpose of knowing, analyzing data and determining the areas prone to traffic accidents (black sites) of roads from Buluh Cawang Village-Kota Kayuagung. The results of the data processing location survey can be concluded that the locations that have a relatively high accident rate are four roads, but of the four roads there is one road that has the highest accident rate is the Lintas Sumatra road which is identified as an accident-prone area (black site), and Jalan Pahlawan Kayuagung is designated as a black spot. From the results of data processing and direct surveys in the field, the locations identified as accident-prone points (black spots) get the attention of the relevant agencies, namely the Transportation Office of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency to pay more attention to the completeness of road facilities, and always provide socialization of the safety of road users. to always comply with traffic regulations so that accidents can be minimized.
