Abstract
ABSTRACT Concrete is one of the civil works construction materials that play an important role in development such as foundations, buildings, waterways, transportation facilities, dams, bridges, sports centers and skyscrapers. One way to increase the strength of concrete is to increase its compaction, which is to minimize pores or cavities formed in the concrete. The use of added ingredients can help solve these problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison between the compressive strength test of concrete with the addition of lime and bagasse ash which varied from normal concrete. It is expected from this study, the compressive strength values achieved by K-350 in 7, 14, and 28 days. After the concrete compressive strength test is performed, then the concrete compressive strength obtained at 28 days with normal concrete conditions is 353.5 kg/cm2, N + 5% chalk, that is equal to 325.6 kg/cm2, N + 5% lime + AAT 2%, namely 333.1 kg/cm2, N + 5% chalk + AAT 4%, which is 344.5 kg/cm2, N + 5% chalk + AAT 6%, 362.6 kg/cm2, N + chalk 5% + AAT 8% that is equal to 370.9 kg/cm2, N + chalk 5% + AAT 10% that is equal to 383.0 kg/cm2. The conclusion from this study can be seen that the lime and bagasse ash have an influence on the compressive strength of concrete.
