Abstract

TRIAN PRASTIAWAN,"The Study of Rice on Peatlands in Mulyaguna Village Teluk Gelam District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency" (Guided by SUTARMO ISKANDAR DAN HARNIATUN ISWARINI) This study aims to find out 1) How agribisuness of rice on peatlands in mulyaguna village,Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency and 2) How much is the income of rice farmers on peatlands in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This research was conducted in the Village of Mulyaguna, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in June to September 2019. The research method use was a case study. The sampling method is simple random sampling, where there are as many as 120 farmers who cultivate rice on peatlands and then take 19% of the populations to be respondents so that respondents are obtained as many as 22 sample farmers. Data collection method use oin this study are observation and interview directly to respondents, in aaddition to be type of data collected are primary data and secondary data. furthemore, data processing and analysis in this research are editing, coding, and tabulating. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative adn qualitative descriptive. Furthemore, to find out how much indcome on rice farming on peatlands in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency uses the formula. Based on the result of the study that 1) Agribusiness of rice on peatlands in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency consist of production system procurement subsystem, farming subsystem and marketing subsystem. 2) Income obtained by rice farmers in the peatlands in Mulyaguna Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency is with an average harvest of unhusked rice production of 1602 Kg/Mt and rice rice produced an average of 651Kg/Mt with an average revenue obtained of Rp 3.638.345 Lg/Mt an average production cost of Rp 1.285.106 Lg/Mt, so as to get income from rice farming on peatlands an average of Rp 2.353.239 Lg/Mt.
