Abstract

Water is one of the natural resources that has a very vital function for the life of living things on earth. The central and regional governments as well as the private sector are working through the provision of clean water (PAM / PDAM) to distribute clean water to the community in order to improve public health. In this study, the researchers projected the need for clean water in the next 5 years. The method used is the arithmetic method and the geometric method. Based on the calculation of the total needs by the geometric method in 2020 with the amount of water needs 30,603 liters / second until 2024 with the amount of water needs 32.24 liters / second, while the total needs with the arithmetic method in 2020 with the amount of water needs 30.36 liters / second until 2024 with the amount of water needs of 30,980 liters / second.
