Abstract

This study aims to determine how the activities of white oyster mushroom farming in the Cinta Damai village, Sungai Lilin sub-district Musi Banyuasin district, and how much income and profitability of white oyster mushroom farming in the Cinta Damai village, Sungai Lilin sub-district Musi Banyuasin district. This research has been carried out in the Cinta Damai village in the Sungai Lilin sub-district of Musi Banyuasin district in November 2018-December 2018. The research method used was a case study. Data collection methods used are observation and interview methods. Data processing and analysis methods for white oyster mushroom farming used are coding, editing and tabulation, for how much income and profitability of white oyster mushroom farming in Cinta Damai villages, income analysis and R / C are done with a mathematical approach. the results showed that, the activity of white oyster mushroom farming in the Cinta Damai village of the Sungai Lilin district Musi Banyuasin district was by preparing kumbung or buildings, preparing equipment, making seeds, making mushroom baglogs, and waiting for mushrooms to grow. the income obtained on white oyster mushrooms is an average of Rp.81,845,600 / 4 months of production with 5,000 baglog planting media with an area of 60 m2 mushroom or mushroom. with a profit level of 5.31 which means that each additional Rp. 1 of the production costs incurred will provide an income of Rp. 5.31 or in other words the receipt received at Rp. 100,800,000 equals 5.31 times the costs incurred (Rp. 18,954,400). with more than one R / C, it can be said that the farming of white oyster mushrooms is beneficial. keyword:white oyster mushroom
