Abstract

Lematang river is a river that flows and crosses several districts or cities in south Sumatra province, namely the city of Pagar Alam, Lahat city,Muara Enim and pali district in the lower reaches of the river. This river includes a river that is rich in river stone and black sand which is commonly used for building materials because of that there are many rocks and sand miners on this river. In this research,the writer compare sukacinta sand,sukarami sand,and kasai sand of Muara Enim district to the concrete mixture. This research intends to find out the comparison of Sukacinta sand, Sukarami sand and kasai sand of Muara Enim district for k-250 concrete quality compressive strength. This research use cube shape test object sith size 15x15x15 whole object test in this research 27 sample each of 9 sample.With the age of the specimen namely 7,14 and 28 days. research result show that the result of compressive characteristic strength test by using smooth aggregates of sukacinta sand at 7 days old amounting to 167,38 kg/cm2 , at 14 days old amounting to 220,82 kg/cm2 and at 28 days amounting to 261,89 kg/cm2 for smooth aggregates of sukarami sand obtained concrete compressive characteristic strength at 7 days old amounting 163,98 kg/cm2 at 14 days old amounting 220,92 kg/cm2 and at 28 days old amounting 252,54 kg/cm. for smooth aggregates of kasai sand obtained concrete compressive characteristic strength at 7 days old amounting 162,48 kg/cm2, at 14 days old amounting 222,97 kg/cm2 and at 28 days old amouting 253,15 kg/cm2.
