Abstract
OKTA HERIKO Growth Response and Production of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) on Organic Dose Fertilizer and Biofertilizer Concentration on Dry Land. (Supervised by ERNI HAWAYANTI, and NENI MARLINA). The purpose of this study was to obtain the best dose of organic fertilizer and the concentration of biological fertilizers on the growth and production of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) on dry land. This research has been carried out on farmer's land located on Sukarela Street, Kebun Bunga Village, Kec. Sukarami, Km 7 Palembang South Sumatra. This research was conducted from May to July 2019. The method of conducting this research used a Split Plot Design. With 2 Plots namely 1. Dosing of Organic Fertilizers and 2. Concentration of Biofertilizers. Repeated 3 times and 5 sample plants from each treatment. The plots examined in this study include the Doses of Organic Fertilizer (O) which consists of O1 = the dose of 5 tons / hectare, O2 = the dose of 10 tons / hectare, O3 = the dose of 15 tons / hectare. Concentration of Biofertilizer H0 = Without Biofertilizer, H1 = Concentration of 5 ml / l, H3 = Concentration of 10 ml / l. The variables observed in this study were Plant Height (cm), Number of Leaves (strands), Number of Tiller Per Plant, Number of Tubers Per Clump, Weight of Tubers Per Clump (g), Weight of Tubers Per Plot (g). The results showed that the treatment dose of organic fertilizer had a very significant effect on the variable number of tillers per plant, number of tubers per clump and tuber weight per plot but did not significantly affect other variables. The interaction between dose and concentration of biological fertilizers had no significant effect on all variables. While the concentration of biological fertilizers has a very significant effect on the variable number of tubers per clump, and tuber weight per clump, but the effect is not significant on other variables. In tabulation, the treatment dose of organic fertilizer 10 tons / hectare and the concentration of biological fertilizer 5 ml / l produced the highest growth and production of tuber weight / clump on shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) on dry land which was 9.4 tons / hectare.
