Abstract

Banyuasin Regional General Hospital (RSUD) is one of the public health service facilities that desperately needs the availability of clean water. the Banyuasin General Hospital type C that has a source of water providers obtained from the Regional water company (PDAM) which operates a maximum of 2 times in a week for a period of 6 hours a day. Banyuasin General hospital often gets complaints from hospital users because of insufficient availability of clean water. In this study the Authors analyzed the availability of water based on the amount of stream floaw coming from the regional water company (PDAM) for clean water needs in the Banyuasin Regional General Hospital, where the Availability of clean water was considered lacking and quite influential in the provision of water for facilities in this hospital. Based on the results of the analysis of clean water needs, it can be concluded that the total clean water needed by the Banyuasin General Hospital is 109.250 liters/day, while the availability of clean water can be accommodated based on the stream floaw of the Regional Company Drinking water (PDAM) which is 15.428,57 liters/day. So it can be concluded that there is a shortage of water of 93.921,57 liters/day. So, The Banyuasin General Hospital can only provide 7.08 % fot its clean water needs, where the hospital still needs 92,92 % more to meet its clean water needs.
