Abstract
Concrete is one of the construction works of civil works which plays an important role in aviation such as houses, buildings, roads, bridges, dams, ports and others. One way to increase the strength of concrete is to increase its compaction, which is to minimize pores or cavities that form in concrete. In this study using specimens in the form of beams with a size of 15cm x 15cm x 60cm as many as 8 specimens, have 4 variations, with the addition of residual ash burning brick 0%, 5%, 7.5%, 10% in this study using variations in age 28 days. From the results of research conducted in the laboratory the results of the average flexural strength test at the age of 28 days with the variation of Normal Concrete were obtained at 48.54 kg / cm2, normal Concrete + 5% brick combustion ash of 43.85 kg / cm2, Normal concrete + ash The remaining 7.5% brick combustion is 41.74 kg / cm2, normal concrete + 10% brick combustion ash is 38.27 kg / cm2. where the results have decreased from normal concrete so that the remaining ash burning brick does not affect the flexural strength of the concrete. Keywords: Bending Concrete Strength, K-300, Remnant brick combustion ash.
