Abstract
Most in the Tanjung Enim region have used clean water services in the Tanjung Enim PDAM,with climate chance occuring during the dry season and the rainy season. PDAMs that are far from the location of the review have many turns, friction in the pipes and the length of the pipes that affect the energy loss in the pipe. Energy loss is a factor that affects pipe capacity as a means of carrying water and oil which is a reduction in flowrate. Energy loss can be caused by the coeffient of friction in the pipe, the change in the cross section that is in the pipe, the turn of the pipe along the pipe used and the length of the pipe can also affect the energy loss in the pipe. The results of the analysis, the highest maximum energy loss was in the pipe with the smallest diameter, namely the diameter of 90 mm found at point E of 348.85 m. For cross section changes, the maximum loss is found in pipe B towards pipe E with a diameter of 315 mm towards a pipe with a diameter of 90 mm which is equal to 2.24 m. At pipe turns with a diameter of 90 mm, there is a maximum loss of power due to turns, which is equal to 0.25 m and 5 m. Keywords: distribution network system, energy loss, analysis
