Abstract

STUDI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA PRODUKSI SELADA (Lactuca sativa.L) METODE HIDROPONIK (Studi Kasus Green Corner Hidroponik Palembang) Ihsan Karimullah Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Muhammadyah Palembang Jl. Jendral Ahmad Yani 13 Ulu Palembang 30263 Telp. (0711) 511731 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to find out the production technology that has been developed in the Green Corner hydroponic lettuce production business. Analyzing the advantages and analyzing the feasibility of lettuce production business in Green Corner hydroponic method. The research was conducted in the 20 Ilir Sub-District of Timur Ilir Subdistrict, Palembang City, November 2018 to January 2019. The research method used was a case study, for the sampling method used was purposive sampling, data collection methods used were observation and interviews and managing data in the form of editing, coding and tabulating in this study using descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed that the technology developed in the Green Corner hydroponic lettuce production business turned out to be innovative in its use, it can be seen by the application of innovation technology in sloping installations, the use of UV plastic for greenhouses, and already using temperature sensors in this case including rare used in other hydroponic production businesses. The profit generated by the Green Corner Hydroponic lettuce production business is Rp. 3,419,810 / MT. The profit is obtained from the difference between the receipts of Rp. 4,680,000 / MT and the production costs of Rp. 1,260,190 / MT. The feasibility of Green Corner Hydroponic lettuce production business is declared feasible and profitable this can be seen from the results of BEP analysis (Break Even Point) and R / C ratio. PEM prices of Rp. 7,001 / kg, BEP production of 5.90 kg and BEP receipts of Rp. 152.88 and the R / C ratio is 3.71. Keyword: Production business, profits, hydroponic methods
