Abstract

ABSTRACT This study focuses on an experimental study of the carrying capacity of a single bored bore pile foundation used in Light Rail Transit (LRT) construction, given that this type of foundation is capable of supporting considerable loads. To determine the efficiency of the carrying capacity of existing bored pile foundations and compared with some variations of diameters with a certain depth to find more efficient size by using fewer concrete but carrying higher or equal capacity, with calculations based on N-SPT data using Reese and Wright The research was conducted at point P4 at LRT Bridge (Light Rail Transit) using variation of Type A diameter Ø125 at depth 43,44,45,46,47 meters, Type B diameter Ø130 at depth 42,5, 43,5,44,5, 45.5, 46.5 meters. Type C diameter Ø135 at depth of 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 meters. and variation diameter Type D Ø140 at depth 41,5, 42,5, 43,5, 44,5, 45,5 meter with fixed concrete quality that is K-350. Result of calculation of carrying capacity of single drill bit foundation, on the existing P4 can be for recorded capacity value 2183kN with volume 54.259m3. For efficiency the overall ratio of type in can Type A Ø125 depth of 43 meters with a carrying capacity of 2610kN and volume of 52,742 m3. And after reset to find a more efficient variation in size can be Ø125 depth of 40meter with a carrying capacity of 2225kN volume of 49.06 m3 Keywords: Efisiesi bearing capacity of foundation, Variation, Bored pile single, Reese and Wright.
