Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study was how the influence of company size, company age , leverage, and board of commissioner on the financial performance. The study aimed to determine the influence of company size, company age, leverage, and board of commissioner. This study was assosiative research which finding out the correlation between two or more variables and finding out is influence. The independent variables were company size, company age, leverage and board of commissioner on the financial performance. The population in this study was the industrial sector manufacturing company and consumer goods listed in Indonesia stock exchange in 2014-2017. The number of samples tested was 10 companies selected by using purposive sampling method. The secondary data is used as a basis for analysis while the technique of data collection was documentation. The analytical techniqus used was multiple linear regression. The resuls of the study indicated that there was simultaneous significant influence in company size, company age, leverage, and board of commissioner on the financial performance. Partially, there was only leverage that gave significant influence on financial perfoemance, while company size, company age and board of commissioner did not give any influence on the financial performance.
