Abstract
Ruas Jalan Tanjung Lago STA 03+400–06+400 Kabupaten Banyuasin merupakan salah satu akses strategis yang mendukung mobilitas masyarakat serta distribusi hasil pertanian, perkebunan, perikanan, dan logistik menuju pusat kegiatan ekonomi di Kabupaten Banyuasin dan Kota Palembang. Tingginya volume lalu lintas, khususnya kendaraan angkutan barang dengan beban berat, serta kondisi wilayah yang didominasi lahan rawa pasang surut dengan daya dukung tanah dasar yang relatif rendah dapat memengaruhi kinerja dan umur pelayanan jalan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perencanaan struktur perkerasan yang mampu menahan repetisi beban kendaraan berat selama umur rencana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan struktur perkerasan kaku (rigid pavement) pada Ruas Jalan Tanjung Lago STA 03+400–06+400 Kabupaten Banyuasin menggunakan metode Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan (MDPJ) 2024. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pengumpulan dan analisis data tanah dasar serta data lalu lintas sebagai dasar perencanaan struktur perkerasan. Kondisi daya dukung tanah dasar ditentukan berdasarkan hasil pengujian Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) untuk memperoleh nilai California Bearing Ratio (CBR) karakteristik pada persentil ke-10. Selanjutnya, perencanaan struktur perkerasan kaku dilakukan berdasarkan ketentuan MDPJ 2024 dengan mempertimbangkan kondisi tanah dasar dan beban lalu lintas kendaraan niaga selama umur rencana 40 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai CBR karakteristik tanah dasar berdasarkan pengujian DCP pada persentil ke-10 sebesar 5,8% dan dibulatkan menjadi 6,0%. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut, tanah dasar pada lokasi penelitian tidak memerlukan perbaikan (subgrade improvement). Struktur perkerasan kaku yang direncanakan menggunakan tipe Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP) dengan tebal pelat beton semen sebesar 200 mm, Lean Mix Concrete (LMC) sebesar 150 mm, dan lapis fondasi agregat Kelas A sebagai lapis permeabel/drainase sebesar 150 mm. Struktur perkerasan tersebut direncanakan untuk mampu mendukung beban lalu lintas kendaraan berat dan memberikan kinerja pelayanan yang sesuai dengan ketentuan MDPJ 2024 selama umur rencana 40 tahun. The Tanjung Lago Road Section STA 03+400–06+400 in Banyuasin Regency is a strategic access point supporting community mobility and the distribution of agricultural, plantation, fishery, and logistics products to economic centers in Banyuasin Regency and Palembang City. The high traffic volume, particularly for heavy-duty freight vehicles, coupled with the area's predominantly tidal swampy terrain and relatively low subgrade bearing capacity, can impact the road's performance and service life. Therefore, pavement structural design is required to withstand repeated heavy vehicle loads throughout the design life. This study aims to design a rigid pavement structure for the Tanjung Lago Road Section STA 03+400–06+400 in Banyuasin Regency using the 2024 Road Pavement Design Manual (MDPJ). The research method involves collecting and analyzing subgrade and traffic data as the basis for pavement structural design. The bearing capacity of the subgrade was determined based on the results of Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) testing to obtain the characteristic California Bearing Ratio (CBR) value at the 10th percentile. Furthermore, the rigid pavement structure was designed based on the provisions of the 2024 MDPJ, taking into account subgrade conditions and commercial vehicle traffic loads over a 40-year design life. The results showed that the characteristic CBR value of the subgrade based on the DCP test at the 10th percentile was 5.8%, rounded to 6.0%. Based on this value, the subgrade at the study site does not require subgrade improvement. The planned rigid pavement structure uses a Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP) type with a 200 mm thick cement concrete slab, 150 mm of Lean Mix Concrete (LMC), and a 150 mm Class A aggregate base layer as a permeable/drainage layer. The pavement structure is designed to be able to support heavy vehicle traffic loads and provide service performance in accordance with the provisions of the 2024 MDPJ over a 40-year design life.
