Abstract

ABSTRACK This study was to find out the effective media in delivering agricultural extension materials and farmer responses to the use of these media in farmer groups Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin District. This research was carried out in Air Salek Subdistrict from December 2018 to February 2019. The research method used was a case study (case study), for sampling methods used census method and ramdom sampling. The data collection method used in this study is direct interviews with respondents who have been determined using qoesioner tools that have been prepared in advance. Data processing and analysis is carried out using descriptive-qualitative methods. The results of the study show that the media is effective in delivering agricultural extension materials. Agricultural instructors are more effective using printed media. Farmers' response to the use of print media in delivering agricultural agricultural extension materials is easy to understand and easy to understand so farmers receive good and love the print media used by agricultural extension workers in delivering agricultural extension materials Keywords: media, agricultural counseling, effective, responses, agricultural extension materials.
