Abstract

abstract:%20Soil%20stabilization%20is%20a%20soil%20improvement%20method%20that%20is%20often%20used%20to%20improve%20the%20technical%20properties%20of%20the%20soil%20so%20that%20the%20soil%20becomes%20better%20and%20meets%20certain%20requirements.%20Soil%20stabilization%20using%20rice%20husk%20ash%20and%20corn%20husk%20ash%20can%20increase%20the%20value%20of%20the%20support%20strength%20of%20the%20original%20soil.%20This%20study%20aims%20to%20determine%20the%20comparison%20of%20soil%20stabilization%20with%20the%20addition%20of%20a%20mixture%20of%20rice%20husk%20ash%20and%20corn%20husk%20ash%20on%20the%20stability%20of%20clay%20soil.%20The%20results%20showed%20that%20the%20addition%20of%20rice%20husk%20ash%20(SP)%20and%20corn%20husk%20ash%20(KJ)%20was%20able%20to%20reduce%20the%20soil%20water%20content%20significantly.%20The%20lowest%20water%20content%20value%20was%20obtained%20in%20a%20mixture%20of%204%25%20corn%20husk%20(TA%20+%20KJ%204%25)%20with%20a%20result%20of%2010.76%25.%20This%20shows%20that%20KJ%20can%20reduce%20the%20ability%20of%20the%20soil%20to%20absorb%20air%20so%20that%20the%20soil%20becomes%20more%20stable%20against%20changes%20in%20water%20content.%20In%20terms%20of%20shear%20strength%20(Maximum%20Deviator%20Stress),%20the%20addition%20of%20KJ%20up%20to%204%25%20is%20a%20decrease%20in%20the%20maximum%20deviator%20stress%20or%20the%20lowest%20shear%20strength%20during%209%20days%20of%20curing,%20namely%202.8235%20kg/cm.%20Thus,%20the%20results%20of%20this%20study%20indicate%20that%20the%20use%20of%20corn%20husk%20ash%20(4%25%20KJ)%20as%20a%20soil%20admixture%20is%20effective%20up%20to%20the%20optimal%20limit%20of%204%25%20for%20achieving%20maximum%20strength%20gains.
