Abstract

ABSTRACT In this study the authors took Fly Ash and Cretaceous as added ingredients to the concrete mixture. This study intends to determine the effect of using Fly Ash and Kapur on K-300 concrete compressive strength. This research uses cube-shaped specimens with a size of 15x15x15 Cm3. The total number of test specimens in this study was 30 samples, each of 5 samples in 6 conditions namely normal concrete, concrete + fly Ash 15% + lime 2%, concrete + fly Ash 15% + lime 4%, concrete + fly Ash 15% + lime 6%, concrete + fly Ash 15% + lime 8% and concrete + fly Ash 15% + lime 10%. After testing the compressive strength of concrete, the concrete compressive strength characteristics at the age of 28 days, with normal concrete 301.41 Kg / Cm2. And the value of the characteristic concrete compressive strength with the use of 15% fly Ash + Cretaceous 2% has the highest characteristic concrete compressive strength of 366.52 Kg / Cm2. These results exceed the value of the compressive strength characteristic of normal concrete and show that fly ash and lime increase the concrete compressive strength.
