Abstract

PENGARUH SUBSTITUSI ABU BATU QUARRY TERHADAP NILAI UJI KUAT TEKAN BEBAS PADA STABILITAS TANAH LEMPUNG LUNAK ABSTRACT Agnes Moneka1, Nurnilam Oemiati2, Revisdah3 Soft clay soil is a type of soil that has low bearing capacity. The function of soil as a building foundation requires stable soil conditions. Therefore, the soil needs to be treated specially to improve the poor properties of the soil by means of stabilization. The purpose of soil stabilization is to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. One other alternative for the stability of Soft clay soil is to add rock ash to the soil. This rock ash has a content that can make the stability value of the soil high where when mixed with rock ash it will strengthen the bearing capacity value of the soil. The variations of the rock ash mixture used are 0%, 30%, 33%, and 36% of the dry soil weight with a curing time of 7 and 14 days. The study showed that the unconfined compressive strength value continued to increase to the highest limit in the 36% rock ash mixture, which was 1.41952 kg/m2 against the original soil and increased by 191.58% against the original soil, so the unconfined compressive strength value was influenced by the addition of mixture variations where the largest unconfined compressive strength value occurred in the 36% mixture variation with a curing time of 14 days.
