Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the marketing channels for Robusta coffee in Padang Tambak Village, Way Tenong District, West Lampung Regency and to analyze price transmission that occurs in the marketing of Robusta coffee in Padang Tambak Village, Way Tenong District, West Lampung Regency. The research method used was a survey method. The sampling method used was Simple Random Sampling (simple randomization) for farmers, with 30 respondents in this study, and the Snawball method (snowball sampling) for collectors/middlemen. Data collection methods used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data processing methods included editing, coding, and tabulation. The data analysis methods used were qualitative and quantitative. The results of this study indicate that there are four marketing channels in Padang Tambak Village, Way Tenong District, West Lampung Regency used by farmers, namely: (a). Marketing channel I is 6 farmers or 20.0% through middleman 1, Marketing channel III is 3 farmers or 10.0% through middleman 3, and Marketing channel IV is 4 farmers or 13.3% through middleman 4. These three marketing channels use a payment system that is not in cash, but uses notes first before the harvest is distributed to the factory. (b). Marketing channel II is 17 farmers or 56.7% who use this channel through middleman 2 with a cash payment system. The transmission regression coefficient value in Padang Tambak Village is 0.938 or less than one (Et <1) indicating the value of price elasticity, this means that if there is a price change of 1% at the factory level it will trigger a price change of 0.938% at the farmer level.
