Abstract
ABSTRACT An intersection is a meeting point or conflict point from various directions where two or more roads join or intersect, including roads and roadside facilities for traffic movement within it. An intersection is a place where accidents often occur, due to conflicts between vehicle movements and other vehicle movements. Prabumulih-Beringin Intersection is the meeting point of Jalan Jend. Sudirman and Jalan Prabumulih-Beringin. This intersection is one of the intersections in Prabumulih City, South Sumatra province. The purpose of this study is to determine the traffic volume, traffic performance and find solutions or alternatives at the Prabumulih-Beringin ThreeWay Intersection, Prabumulih City. The stages in the study include literature studies, preparatory work including data collection in the form of primary data and secondary data, data collection in the form of conducting a survey which is then processed by referring to the 2023 PKJI guidelines (Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines), analyzing the results of calculating the actual capacity value, saturation degree value, intersection traffic delay, main traffic delay, intersection geometric delay, intersection delay, and queue opportunities which finally draw a conclusion. From the results of the discussion and calculation, the performance of the intersection analysis using PKJI 2023 obtained a capacity value (C) of 2118 smp/hour, degree of saturation (DJ) = 0.87 where according to PKJI 2023 if the DJ value is ˃ 0.85. then physical changes need to be made and need to get enough attention by providing road infrastructure at the intersection, and delay (T) of = 15.2 sec/hour. Keywords : Unsignalized Intersection Capacity, Saturation Degree, Delay, PKJI 2023
