Abstract
ABSTRACT M Charli Yudhistira 1 , RA Sri Martini2 , Verinazul Seprtiansyah3 This study analyzes the drainage system of the underpass in Ulak Lebar Village, Lahat Regency, which often experiences waterlogging during rainfall. The objective is to calculate the capacity of the drainage channel and plan the number of pumps required to prevent water accumulation. The methods include rainfall data collection, drainage channel dimension measurement, peak discharge calculation using the Rational method, and pump capacity simulation.. The underpass on the Manggul-Ulak Lebar village ring road in Lahat Regency serves as an alternative route frequently used by large vehicles such as buses, trucks, and trucks. The Ulak Lebar village underpass itself was built in 2015. It continues to be plagued by problems, one of which is frequent flooding. As a result, the alternative route frequently used by vehicles is cut off. The underpass has been flooded to a depth of five meters on several occasions. The analysis results show that the capacity of the transverse channel is insufficient to accommodate the planned peak rainfall discharge of 0.123 m3/second and 0.112 m3/second, so 1 water pumps with the GRUNFOS brand with a pump capacity of 239 liters/second are required to drain water out of the Underpass.
