Abstract

The lack of drinking water distribution can be caused by various factors, including inadequate infrastructure, inefficient company management, and geographical challenges. Some areas, especially in rural and remote areas, are often neglected in terms of clean water supply. To get clean water, there are various ways to distribute it in various regions, one of which is PDAM (Regional Drinking Water Company).This study aims to determine the causes of the lack of distribution of clean water in the Drinking Water Company (PAM) of Sri Bunga Village, Buay Pemuka Subdistrict, Bangsa Raja District, OKU Timur Regency. The method used for research is a survey method which collects field data consisting of primary data and secondary data, while for calculations using three calculation methods, namely, prediction of population, prediction of the amount of clean water and calculation of clean water distribution. Based on the calculation results, it is known that the domestic water demand is 110.580 liters / day, while non-domestic is 22.116 liters / day and the loss of water discharge is 26.539,2 liters / day, so that the total need for clean water in Sri Bunga Village, Buay Pemuka Bangsa Raja Kab. OKU Timur is 159.235,2 liters / day. Based on the results of field surveys, it is known that the capacity of the PAM reservoir in Sri Bunga Village is 12,000 liters, this makes one of the causes of the lack of clean water distribution in Sri Bunga village, which is seen from the total demand of 159.235,2 liters.
