Abstract

Road infrastructure plays an important role in driving economic growth and regional development. As a developing country, Indonesia is in dire need of quality and adequate roads to meet the needs of the community in various economic activities, including access and distribution of goods and services. A road is a path that aims to move from one place to another.This research was conducted on the Jl. Belitar Muka Village, SindangKelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. The purpose of this study is to identify the causes of damage and road repair efforts on this road section. Regarding the data processing that will be carried out in this study, the author collected several data that were needed through agencies, or data from direct survey researchers in the field that were needed as material for data processing, including processing the results of the total percentage of road damage. The results of research on the road section of Belitar Muka Village, SindangKelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency, found 7 types of road damage, among others: Fine Cracking (Hair Cracking) 0.030%, Alligator Crack 0.347%, Edge Cracking 0.013%, Potholes 0.065%, and Depression 0.070%, Surface Layer Exfoliation (Stripping) 0.621%, and Grain Release (Ravelling) 0.019%.Obtained the results of the Daily Traffic Survey (LHR) conducted on December 20 2024 - December26, 2024, the highest LHR was on Saturday, December21, 2024 with a total of 3707 vehicles crossing the Jl. Belitar Muka Village, SindangKelingi District, Rejang Lebong Regency.
