Abstract
ABSTRACK This study aims to analyze the adaptation of various rice varieties with the addition of ameliorants on growth and yield in rainfed paddy fields. The research was conducted in Lahat District, Lahat Regency, from January to May 2024, using a split-plot design with 12 treatment combinations, repeated 3 times. The main plot treatments were ameliorants (A), consisting of A1= lime, A2= solid organic fertilizer, A3= lime + solid organic fertilizer, and the subplot treatments were varieties (V), consisting of V1= Ciherang, V2= Inpari 32, V3= Inpari 39, V4= Situ Bagendit. The observed parameters included plant height (cm), number of tillers, number of productive tillers, panicle length (cm), flowering age (hst), harvest age (hst), total grains per panicle (gram), percentage of empty grains (%), 1000-grain weight (gram), and productivity (ton/ha). The results showed that the use of ameliorants such as lime and solid organic fertilizer provided the best results for rice plant growth. Tabular analysis revealed that the Situ Bagendit variety gave the best productivity compared to other varieties. In tabular analysis, the combination of ameliorants consisting of lime + organic fertilizer and the Situ Bagendit variety achieved the highest paddy productivity at 5.13 ton/ha
