Abstract
Jalan merupakan prasarana angkutan darat yang sangat penting dalam memperlancar kegiatan hubungan ekonomi dan kegiatan social lainnya. Namun jika terjadi kerusakan jalan akan berakibat bukan hanya terhalangnya kegiatan ekonomi dan social lainnya namun dapat terjadi kecelakaan bagi pemakai jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada ruas Jalan desa Air Mayan sampai Talang Randai Kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh dengan jarak 7,3 kilometer dengan menggunakan metode bina Marga (Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2024). Maksud penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui penyebab kerusakan jalan pada ruas jalan desa Air Mayan sampai Talang Randai. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui jumlah LHR, mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kerusakan, menghitung persentase kerusakan dan kapasitas jalan ruas jalan desa Air Mayan sampai Talang Randai kecamatan Pasemah Air Keruh Kabupaten Empat Lawang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan pada ruas jalan desa Air Mayan sampai Talang Randai total kerusakan yang terjadi sebesar 7023,82 m2 atau 21,38 %, yang disebabkan oleh kendaraan dengan beban yang melebihi batas maksimal jalan (overload), dan drainase disepanjang jalan yang tidak berfungsi secara maksimal yang mengakibatkan air hujan menggenang dan mempengaruhi perkerasan jalan. Roads are very important land transportation infrastructure in facilitating economic and other social activities. However, if road damage occurs, it will not only hinder economic and other social activities but can cause accidents for road users. This research was conducted on the road section from Air Mayan village to Talang Randai, Pasemah Air Keruh sub-district with a distance of 7.3 kilometers using the Bina Marga method (Road Pavement Design Manual 2024). The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of road damage on the road section from Air Mayan village to Talang Randai. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of LHR, identify the types of damage, calculate the percentage of damage and road capacity of the road section from Air Mayan village to Talang Randai, Pasemah Air Keruh sub-district, Empat Lawang Regency. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the damage to the road section from Air Mayan village to Talang Randai has a total damage of 7023.82 m2 or 21.38%, which is caused by vehicles with loads that exceed the maximum road limit (overload), and drainage along the road that does not function optimally which results in stagnant rainwater and affects the road pavement.
