Abstract
Abstract This study is a concrete study using bottom ash substitution for sand and fly ash for cement in the concrete mixture. The purpose of this study is to determine the compressive strength of concrete by reducing the use of sand by 0%, 10%, 20%, 35%, 40% which is substituted with bottom ash and 10% fly ash in the concrete mixture. This study uses an experimental method with a total of 45 test specimens, the test specimens consist of normal concrete + bottom ash 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% as a substitute for sand and 10% fly ash as a substitute for cement in the concrete mixture. Each variation of the concrete mixture is made of 3 test specimens, the test specimens used are cubes measuring 15 cm x 15 cm. The compressive strength test was carried out at the ages of 7, 14 and 28 days. The highest percentage of bottom ash substitution mixture for sand and fly ash for cement after being substituted with normal concrete is in a mixture with 10% bottom ash substitution for sand and 10% fly ash substitution for cement. It can be concluded that 10% bottom ash substitution and 10% fly ash substitution for cement produce the highest concrete compressive strength that meets the planned concrete compressive strength K250 of 264.37 kg/cm².
