Abstract

Prabumulih is one of the cross-Sumatra cities that has a lot of traffic, so it is certain that the traffic flow in this area will be very congested, one of which is at the intersection of Jalan Padat Karya. The Karya Intensive Road is the second center of the economy in Prabumulih City. The type of research used is descriptive and quantitative where primary data collection is carried out in the field. For 7 days (Monday to Sunday) from 07.00-18.00. Road width data is obtained in the field by measuring directly using a measuring device at each approach. When all primary and secondary data has been obtained, it will be analyzed based on the 2023 PKJI Book and traffic modeling using PTV Vissim Version Student. At the Padat Kaarya road intersection, analysis based on PKJI 2023 is used and it is planned to use APILL with two phases and four phases. From this planning, the results obtained for planning the use of APILL with two phases were H US 21 seconds, H BT 18 seconds, and the results of planning for the use of APILL with four phases were H U 183 seconds, H S 104 seconds, H T 150 seconds, H B 140 seconds. From the results that have been analyzed and experiments have been carried out using the PTV Vissim Version Student application, it can be concluded that the Williem Iskandar road intersection can be given APILL with two phases because the level of service at the intersection is at level A with a flow that is close to stable, the speed can still be controlled, and the volume per capacity can still be tolerated. Providing APILL at intersections with four phases cannot be done because it is at service level F where the flow is too forced, the speed is low, the volume at the intersection is above capacity, and the queue is too long Keywords: Service Level, PKJI 2023, traffic lights.PTV Vissim
