Abstract

This research aimed to find out kinds, meanings of deixis and to analyze the potential deixis used in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) in Mavka; The forest Song movie by Malamuzh and Oleksandra Ruban. In this research, the researcher used qualitative research methodology. To collect the data, the researcher used documentation technique. and to analyze the data the researcher used descriptive analysis. The results showed that there were 293 deixis in terms of 260 person deixis in line with 114 first person deixis, 94 second persons deixis, and 52 third person deixis. Then 10 place deixis, 12 time deixis, 5 discourse deixis, and 6 social deixis.
