Abstract

Selama masa remaja, kehidupan pria dan wanita tak luput oleh seksualitas. Faktor dasar biologis dari kematangan seksual, termasuk waktu munculnya perubahan-perubahan hormon yang terlibat. Semakin terbukanya arus komunikasi dan informasi saat ini, mendorong remaja untuk mencoba sesuatu yang ingin mereka ketahui dan dijadikan pengalaman, baik secara positif maupun secara negatif. Secara positif, terbukanya arus komunikasi dan informasi tersebut memotivasi remaja untuk berkarya dan berprestasi lebih tinggi. Secara negatif, mendorong remaja untuk berbuat ke hal-hal yang berdampak negatif seperti kenakalan remaja, merokok, minuman keras, penyalahgunaan narkoba, dan perilaku seksual. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi hubungan sex education dengan karakteristik perilaku seksual pada siswa SMK X Palembang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei analitik dengan design quasi experimental. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 266 subjek penelitian yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling. Data diperoleh dari pengisian kuesioner tertutup. Analisis univariat perilaku seksual didapatkan dari 266 responden ternyata masih terdapat 53 orang (19,9%) dengan perilaku seksual berat (seperti menggesekkan payudara/alat kelamin, saling mencium payudara/alat kelamin, sampai hubungan seksual). Pada analisis univariat tingkat pengetahuan didapatkan ada beberapa responden yang ternyata masih memiliki pengetahuan kurang yaitu 50 orang (18,8%). Analisis bivariat menunjukkan responden perilaku seksual berat 60% terdapat pada responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan kurang sebelum diberikan sex education. Analisis bivariat menunjukkan responden perilaku seksual berat 45,5%% terdapat pada responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan kurang sesudah diberikan sex education. Ada hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan seks dan perilaku seksual, dimana nilai p (0,000) < α (0,05). The aim of this study was to identify the correlation between sex education with sexual behaviour characteristic in SMK X Palembang.This research is analytic survey with cross sectional design. These samples included 266 subjects who met the inclusion criteria. The research method using stratified random sampling technique. Data obtained from the questionnaires covered. Univariate analysis of sexual behavior was obtained from 75 respondents were still there are 53 people (119,9%) with severe sexual behavior (such as swiping breasts / genitals, kissing each breast / genitals, until the sexual intercourse. In the univariate analysis of the level of knowledge found there were some respondents who still has less knowledge which 50 (18.8%). Bivariate analysis showed respondents' sexual behavior weight of 60% of respondents are at the level of knowledge deficient before sex education given. Bivariate analysis showed respondents' sexual behavior weight of 45,5% of respondents are at the level of knowledge deficient after sex education given. There is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of sex and intensity of sexual behavior in the process of dating, where the p-value (0.000) <α (0.05).
