Abstract
ABSTRACT Generally, the type of pavement used on toll roads in Indonesia is rigid pavement, including in the Palembang – Betung Sta toll road project (70 + 700 S / D 71 + 300) Package 4 Section 3b. This study intends to determine how thick the pavement layer is, the effective carrying capacity of the base soil, and the dimensions of the joints used according to the number of commercial vehicles passing by during the life of the plan. The calculation was carried out by the method of the 2017 revised Road Pavement Design Manual with a combination of Pd T-14-2003 and rigid pavement training (PUPR) on the basic concepts of final rigid pavement construction (2017). The data used for the calculation uses average daily traffic (LHR) data, superelevation values, and baseline land CBR values. The results of the analysis stated that the thickness of the concrete slab was 305 mm, the thin concrete (LMC) was 100 mm, the drainage layer was 150 mm. The minimum heap height is 1810 mm and 2310 mm. Finally, the dimensions of the dowel joint have a diameter of 36 mm and a length of 450 mm, while the diameter of the tie bars is 16 mm and a length of 700 mm.
