Abstract

Transportation is a very important field of activity in the life of Indonesian people, especially in Palembang City as the capital city of South Sumatra. One aspect of transportation that concerns the needs of the masses is public transportation, such as the Feeder which uses the LRT (Light Rail Transit). Feeder is a passenger transport whose job is to collect passengers to be distributed specifically for certain transportation routes. This study uses the survey method by way of direct interviews (face to face) using questionnaires to obtain primary data which will later be processed to obtain the desired data. From the results of this survey, the service level or occupancy level of LRT (Light Rail Transit) and Feeder was obtained on corridor 3 of the Asrama Haji – Talang Betutu route. Most of the respondents stated that they strongly agreed, agreed and quite agreed that it touched the 50 percent mark. Which means that almost half of the respondents felt quite effective, satisfied, and interested in the service and operation of the Feeder mode of transportation in the city of Palembang, especially on corridor 3 of the Asrama Haji – Talang Betutu route.
