Abstract

ABSTRACT Floods in Mangku Negara Village, Penukal District, are thought to have been caused by increased rainfall which caused drainage in Mangku Negara Village to be unable to accommodate waste discharge and rainfall, both surface and ground water. This study aims to determine the level of flood vulnerability in Mangku Negara Village, Penukal sub-district. The floods were caused by heavy rains that flushed the Penukal area, especially at the research point in the village of Mangku Negara, which caused the Sebagut river water and drainage around residents' settlements to overflow, so that they entered the residents' villages. on the Sekayu-Belimbing road channel in Mangku Negara village, it is no longer able to drain the water discharge caused by the high intensity of rainfall, so redemension of the channel is needed so that it can accommodate the high rainfall discharge. Key words : Level of canal vulnerability, Flood, Mangku Negara Village.
