Abstract

Webster's method uses the concept of minimizing the time delay in Optimum cycle time vending form for calculating lamp turn-on times traffic based on vehicle density and road width. this method It is practiced to deal with traffic jams that occur at the intersection of the four Balai Agung. Based on data on the number of vehicles and the width of the road, the Webster method Result in a lower green light count-on time compared to the actual green light flash times at the intersection. Traffic Light analysis is done to determine a system traffic management in overcoming the problem of congestion and irregularity traffic flow at the intersection, i.e. the optimum phase or time at crossroad. Simpang Empat Balai Agung is one of the roads in Sekayu congestion. This is because on this road there is an intersection heading towards Kol.wahid udin street, crossroads 1, crossroads 2, and cross roads 3 which is the Sumatra highway. Based on the results of research that has been done by the author then it can be interpreted that this intersection is feasible for re-planned traffic light duration and road widening.
