Abstract

ANALISA KERUSAKAN JALAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PCI PADA RUAS JALAN RAYA MERANJAT SEPANJANG 6 KM DI KECAMATAN INDRALAYA SELATAN KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR Jurusan Teknik Sipil, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang, Jl. Jend. A. Yani 13 Ulu Palembang 30263 E-femmya1908@gmail.com ABSTRACT Highway density that is not balanced with driving knowledge can cause accidents. However, road accidents are not only caused by a lack of knowledge of drivers in driving, but also due to poor road conditions. Road damage that occurs will certainly affect the safety and comfort of road users. Therefore, the handling of pavement construction whether it is maintenance, improvement or rehabilitation can be carried out optimally if the factors that cause damage to the road segment are known. The purpose of this study was to assess the damaged condition of Jalan Raya Meranjat STA 0+000 s/d 6+000. The research was conducted visually using the Pavement Condition Index method. Jalan Raya Meranjat with a length of 6 km is divided into several segments with a size of 100m per segment. Each segment is evaluated by measuring the dimensions, identifying the type and level of damage to get the PCI value. The results of the analysis showed that the damage that occurred included Crocodile Skin Cacks, Obesity, Aggregate Wear, and Holes. Average PCI scores for Jalan Raya Meranjat STA 0+000 s/d 6+000 is categorized in very poor condition, so it needs serious handling from the government to immediately make repairs before the damage becomes more severe.
